Weather sentences start with 'It is'
جملات هوا با «It is» شروع می‌شوند

English always needs a subject, so weather uses 'it': It is cold.
انگلیسی همیشه فاعل می‌خواهد، پس برای هوا «it» می‌آید: It is cold.

For rain and snow happening now: 'It is raining.' / 'It is snowing.'
برای باران و برف در همین لحظه: «It is raining».

In speech people say 'It's cold' — the short form.
در گفتار مردم «It's cold» می‌گویند — شکل کوتاه.

Dari says 'هوا سرد است' — the word 'هوا' is the subject. English uses the small word 'it' instead.
