Time words tell people exactly when something happened.

Time words usually go at the start or end of the sentence
کلمات زمانی معمولاً اول یا آخر جمله می‌آیند

Put the time word at the end for a simple sentence: I worked yesterday.
برای جملهٔ ساده کلمهٔ زمانی را آخر بگذار: I worked yesterday.

Or put it at the start to give emphasis: Last week, I started a new job.
یا برای تأکید اول جمله بگذار: Last week, I started a new job.

'Ago' comes after the number: two days ago, a year ago — never 'ago two days'.
«Ago» بعد از عدد می‌آید: two days ago, a year ago — هیچ‌وقت «ago two days» نیست.
ماه گذشته به اینجا کوچ کردیم.
دو روز پیش به من زنگ زد.
ترتیب دری: دو روز — پیش — به من — زنگ زد
Dari puts the time word right before the verb (دو روز پیش زنگ زد). English is flexible — the time word can go at the start or the end of the sentence.
دری کلمهٔ زمانی را درست پیش از فعل می‌گذارد (دو روز پیش زنگ زد). انگلیسی آزادتر است — کلمهٔ زمانی می‌تواند اول یا آخر جمله بیاید.
