Asking 'Where is …?'
پرسیدن «کجاست؟»

'Where is' + the thing you are looking for: Where is the rice?
«Where is» + چیزی که دنبالش هستی: Where is the rice?

Start with 'Excuse me' to get someone's attention politely.

Dari puts 'کجاست' (where-is) at the end of the sentence. English puts 'Where is' at the very beginning.
