Sounds English has that Dari does not
صداهایی که انگلیسی دارد و دری ندارد

TH as in 'thank you' — put your tongue between your teeth and blow.
صدای TH در «thank you» — زبان را میان دندان‌ها بگذار و فوت کن.

W as in 'water' is not V. Round your lips like you are going to whistle.
صدای W در «water» V نیست. لب‌ها را گرد کن، مثل سوت زدن.
- 3.
Short i in 'sit' is different from long ee in 'seat'. This changes the meaning.
صدای کوتاه i در «sit» با صدای کشیدهٔ ee در «seat» فرق دارد و معنی را عوض می‌کند.

English words can start with two consonants together: street, school.
کلمات انگلیسی می‌توانند با دو حرف بی‌صدا شروع شوند: street، school.
