at, on, in — the three time words
at، on، in — سه کلمهٔ زمان

at + a clock time: at nine o'clock, at 3 p.m.
at + ساعت: at nine o'clock.

on + a day or a date: on Monday, on July 5.
on + روز یا تاریخ: on Monday.
- 3.
in + a part of the day, a month, a year: in the morning, in May.
in + بخشی از روز، ماه یا سال: in the morning.
- 4.
'a.m.' is before noon, 'p.m.' is after noon.
«a.m.» پیش از ظهر و «p.m.» بعد از ظهر است.

Dari uses one small word for many of these. English chooses at / on / in by the kind of time.
دری برای بیشتر این‌ها یک کلمه دارد. انگلیسی بسته به نوع زمان at یا on یا in را انتخاب می‌کند.
Appointment cards, school notes and work schedules always use these words. Getting them right means arriving on the right day at the right hour.
کارت وقت ملاقات، یادداشت مکتب و برنامهٔ کار همیشه این کلمات را دارند. درست فهمیدن‌شان یعنی در روز و ساعت درست حاضر شدن.
